General Description

History

The ceramic department that was established in 2010 has an education system that emphasizes the significance of research and creativity in addition to use modern ceramic technology, also understand versatility of ceramic supplies and its limits. The aim of this department is to provide instruments to the students that they can develop themselves, and to bring up them as artists who know the art is the highest activity ofhuman. At the same time it aims to educate creative designers that can stand in good stead in ceramic industry. In this quadrennial programme, there are practise courses like; Basic Design, Ceramic Design, Drawing, İndustrial Ceramic Design, laboratory, and apart from these courses there are theoretical based courses like art and culture courses.

Specific Admission Requirements

Faculty of Fine Arts within the Department of Ceramics to enroll students who want to primarily pre-registration is necessary for, OSYM assessment exam 'quantitative, verbal, equal-weighted or foreign language' field from any of the annual determined the minimum score threshold will have to take. Faculty of Fine Arts students with skill exam field test of our ability Noble to the list of records entering students have the right to make certain records.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

The student's previous education received in decisions regarding the exemption of courses; ago after the approval of the Department of the Faculty Council with the approval of the Board shall apply

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

As a general rule evaluation per course 1 visa (40%) and 1 final exam (60%) are over. Various courses may request additional assignments or midterms.
