Objectives of the Course

To teach students to perceive the world from the different point of views, to give information related to phases of the historical development of values, to give information related to roles of art in presentation of the societies, to give information the importance of the art for societies and the contribution of it to contemporarily education and life.

Course Contents

Basic concepts related to art and aesthetic, the importance of the art and art education in mental, emotional and physical development of the persons, creativeness, art and aesthetical sensibility, relation to education and art, development of the art in Turkey and world, relation between art and culture, using historical places in art education and the importance of the museums.
