Objectives of the Course

To comprehend the Turkey's population properties of Turkey, to discuss economical problems concerned with the growth and settlement of population, to contact relation between the settlement areas and the type of settlements, to know agriculture, husbandry and other economical activities, to learn the problems and to discus solving them.

At the end of this course; Students 1. Will be able to explain the human and economic geography characteristics of Turkey. 1.1. Explains the population characteristics of Turkey. 1.2. Explains the habitation characteristics of Turkey. 1.3. Explains the economical characteristics of Turkey such as agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, mines, energy sources, industry, transportation, commerce and tourism. 2. Will be able to evaluate the effects of human and economic geography characteristics of Turkey on human life. 2.1. Evaluates the effects of population characteristics of Turkey. 2.2. Evaluates the effects of habitation characteristics of Turkey. 2.3. Evaluates the effects of the economical characteristics of Turkey such as agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, mines, energy sources, industry, transportation, commerce and tourism on human life. 3. Will be able to analyze the problems regarding the human and economic geography of Turkey and their results. 3.1. Questions the problems related to the population characteristics of Turkey and examine their results. 3.2.
