Objectives of the Course

The goal of this course is to explain the situation before the Independence War and Montrose armistice agreement-treaty of Sevres, and to examine Independence War, congresses, and Lausanne agreement, finally to evaluate the foundation of a new Turkish State, Ataturk’s reforms and principles, the development and modernization of Turkish State.The objective of the module is to explore emergence of modern Turkey.
